The series aims to spotlight artists, thinkers, and community leaders whose perspectives align with the show’s core themes of belonging, identity, and standing together.

Black History Month

Hosted by: Shelley Wade

This post-show talkback will bring cast members together to discuss Black representation on Broadway and connect those realities to The Outsiders and how the show helps broaden whose stories are seen and heard. Timed for Black History Month, the conversation will be moderated by Shelley Wade, a trusted and influential voice on 94.7 The Block known for bringing credibility and empathy to conversations around culture, social impact, and storytelling. The goal is to spark honest dialogue and keep Black voices at the center of the conversation on and off the stage.

Women’s History Month

Hosted by: Loren LoRosa

As part of Women’s History Month, this post-show talkback will center on “Black Women, Power & Presence in Theatre,” highlighting Black women as creators, leaders, and change-makers within the industry. Moderated by Shelley Wade, the conversation will explore visibility, voice, and leadership both on and off the stage. Additional participants to be announced.

THE OUTSIDERS navigates the complexities of self-discovery as the Greasers dream about who they want to become in a world that may never accept them. With a dynamic original score, THE OUTSIDERS is a story of friendship, family, belonging…and the realization that there is still “lots of good in the world.”
